    Success for the concert, "At the Origins of Art Music for the Flute" in Florence.

    The ICAMus concert of Early-Romantic American Music, At the Origins of Art Music for the Flute in North America, successully took place yesterday in Florence. Works by Edward Riley, Benjamin Carr, Anthony Ph. Heinrich, Stephen C. Foster. Myung San Ko, soprano; Kyle Sullivan, baritone; Viola Shaula Valerio, flute; Anna Toccafondi, piano and ensemble direction. A collaboration of ICAMus with Conservatorio di Musica “L. The upcoming concert, featuring rare and rediscovered works from the American musical past, takes place in Florence, Villa Bardini, on April 4, 2017, at 5:30 pm. Myung San Ko, soprano; Kyle Sullivan, baritone; Viola S. Valerio, flute; Anna Toccafondi, solo piano, piano accompaniment, ensemble direction; a project by Aloma Bardi.

    The newly released CD has arrived at the ICAMus Studio!

    "La tregua. Songs from a lost world of Italian Jewish composers, 1895-1945". Caroline Helton, soprano, and Kathryn Goodson, piano; Blue Griffin Recording, Inc., 2017. This new CD features works by composers who emigrated to the Americas to escape Nazi deportation: Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Renzo Massarani and Vittorio Rieti; it also includes works by Leone Sinigaglia. ICAMus and Aloma Bardi have collaborated to this project with ongoing research on this rare repertoire and its rediscovery.

    Songs from a Lost World of Italian Jewish Composers; honoring the International Holocaust Remembrance Day and featuring composers who emigrated to the Americas in 1939 to escape Nazi persecution.

    A concert of soprano Caroline Helton and pianist Kathryn Goodson on January 29, 2017, in honor of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, featuring art songs of Italian Jewish Composers, Leone Sinigaglia, Vittorio Rieti, Renzo Massarani and Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco. ICAMus has contributed to this project with research in American archives on forgotten and unpublished works by Italian American composers.

    A Concert of European Premieres of Rare and Rediscovered Works of Early American Music, 1800-1858.

    A new ICAMus spring concert program of rare works from Pre-Civil War American Music, 1800-1858, takes place in the beautiful Villa Bardini of Florence, Italy, on April 4, 2017. Works by Edward Riley (1769-1829), Benjamin Carr (1768-1831; in America from 1793), Anthony Philip Heinrich (1781-1861), Stephen Collins Foster (1826-1864). Myung San Ko, soprano; Kyle Sullivan (baritone); Viola Shaula Valerio (flute); Anna Toccafondi (solo piano, piano accompaniment, ensemble direction); a project by Aloma Bardi. This is the first program carried out by ICAMus within the recently-established Affiliation Agreement with the Music Conservatory of Florence.
