ICAMus session at the 2nd Italian Jewish Studies Conference - La musica e gli ebrei nell’Italia moderna e contemporanea, Camaldoli, Arezzo, Italy, July 3-7, 2023.
Italian Jewish composers who emigrated to the Americas, and how they contributed to the music and musical life of their countries of adoption: Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Vittorio Rieti, and Renzo Massarani. With live music performance. The presentation is part of the 2nd Italian Jewish Studies Conference - La musica e gli ebrei nell’Italia moderna e contemporanea, Camaldoli, Arezzo, Italy, July 3-7, 2023; the conference is organized by Fondazione CDEC and Camaldoli, and is directed by Profs. Gabriele Boccaccini and Gadi Luzzatto Voghera.
