ICAMus welcomes Barbara Boganini and Evan Rothstein to the Board of Directors.

Barbara Boganini (Camerata Strumentale "Città di Prato", Prato, Italy) and Evan Rothstein (Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London, UK, and ECMTA, European Chamber Music Teachers’ Association) have joined the ICAMus Board of Directors. Aloma Bardi submitted their candidacies for discussion by the Board at the February 2011 Board Meeting. The candidacies were unanimously approved.
Barbara Boganini graduated in musicology at the University of Bologna, Italy. Trained as a violinist, she worked 10 years with the Camerata Strumentale "Città di Prato" as “Responsabile dei servizi musicali”. She has been General Manager (Sovrintendente) of the Camerata Strumentale since Jan. 2011. Barbara Boganini has contributed to the ICAMus projects over the last 2 years (lectures, radio programs, conference paper).
Evan Rothstein is Deputy Head of Strings at the Guildhall School and Chairman of the ECMTA, European Chamber Music Teachers' Association. Doctor of Music in violin performance at Indiana University with a dissertation on Ives, he also received a Maîtrise and Diplôme d'études approfondies from the University of Paris 8 - Saint Denis. String quartet performance teacher, American music expert, musicologist and researcher for many years at Paris 8, as a member of the ICAMus Advisory Board Dr. Rothstein has contributed to our events and projects.
