ICAMus is honored to be taking part in a major international conference, organized by Fondazione CDEC - Centro di Documentazione Ebraica Contemporanea, and Camaldoli: 2nd Italian Jewish Studies Conference - La musica e gli ebrei nell’Italia moderna e contemporanea, Camaldoli, Arezzo, Italy, July 3-7, 2023. The Conference is directed by Profs. Gabriele Boccaccini and Gadi Luzzatto Voghera; Diletta Cesana, Fundraising & Assistant to the Director.

The ICAMus research for the CDEC-Camaldoli Conference 2023 deals with Italian Jewish composers who emigrated to the Americas, and how they contributed to the music and musical life of their new countries: Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Vittorio Rieti, and Renzo Massarani. Presentation by Aloma Bardi, concert by Caroline Helton (soprano) and Muse Ye (piano).
A collaboration of ICAMus with the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre and Dance, and the Jean and Samuel Frankel Center for Judaic Studies, for the CDEC-Camaldoli Conference 2023.
