The newly-released “Emergence” album has arrived at the ICAMus Studio!
A newly-released CD of special relevance to the ICAMus projects has arrived at the ICAMus Studio: EMERGENCE: EMILY DICKINSON SETTINGS. Nadine Benjamin (soprano), Nicole Panizza (piano); Stone Records 5060192780864; released September 6, 2019. Songs by Aaron Copland, Luigi Zaninelli, Juliana Hall, Sylvia Glickman, Ella Jarman-Pinto. Thank you, Dr. Panizza, for this beautiful gift to the ICAMus Library! ICAMus is working with Nicole Panizza and Nadine Benjamin on an ongoing program of American poets set to music by American composers, coordinated by Aloma Bardi and Nicole Panizza, to be premièred in Florence on May 18, 2020, a collaboration ICAMus-Lyceum Club Internazionale Firenze-Università degli Studi di Firenze.
