This academic year 2010-2011 the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, voice class of Lucia Mazzei, is working on a performance project by Lorenzo Puliti, focusing on a selection of George and Ira Gershwin's Strike up the Band in the 1930 published version.

The original voice and piano score is being arranged by the composition class of the school, and is meant as an experiment in sound and instrumentation of 1920-30s Broadway.
