Historic day at ICAMus. The Palazzo della Musica of Prato, Italy, appointed American-music scholar and ICAMus founding director Aloma Bardi as Curator of the American Music Center/Centro di Documentazione sulla Musica Americana in Prato, Italy for the next five years.

Aloma Bardi received her appointment and signed the contract as Curator of the American Music Center/Centro di Documentazione sulla Musica Americana in Prato. ICAMus and the Prato Center are now fervently at work creating a first project of initiatives and events, 2025-2027, and looking forward to the months and years ahead. We wish to express our gratitude to the City of Prato and the Palazzo della Musica-Camerata Strumentale di Prato for supporting our mission. As the American Music Center Curator, Aloma Bardi remains committed to contributing to a more comprehensive knowledge of American music & musical life in an international perspective.
