ICAMus participates in a major international conference, organized by Fondazione CDEC and Camaldoli: 2nd Italian Jewish Studies Conference - La musica e gli ebrei nell’Italia moderna e contemporanea, Camaldoli, Arezzo, Italy, July 3-7, 2023. Our research deals with Italian Jewish composers who emigrated to the Americas, and how they contributed to the music and musical life of their new countries: Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Vittorio Rieti, and Renzo Massarani. The Trio Moderno Italiano (Alberto Bologni, violin; Fausto Bombardieri, percussion; Carlo Palese, piano) performs a program of American musical innovators: Charles E.
