Collaboration with Scuola di Musica di Prato on Foster.

The collaboration begun with Scuola di Musica "Giuseppe Verdi" of Prato, Italy in October 2010, to achieve a historically informed performance of Stephen Collins Foster's Songs in different arrangements by the author is now effective in view of a performance later this year.

2012-2013 Vespucci celebrations project announced.

Since winter 2011 the Center has been working on a 2012-2013 scholarly and performance project to celebrate American music through the lens of the 500th anniversary of Amerigo Vespucci's death. Rare pieces will be researched and performed, related to the discovery of the Americas.
