The Center announces new events in 2019-2020, following the large resonance of the June 12-14, 2018 Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco events at Sapienza Università di Roma:
Aloma Bardi's paper on Castelnuovo-Tedesco's musical and cultural America, presented in Rome on June 13, 2018, where it raised lively interest among all the participants, is being published in a forthcoming volume of conference proceedings. This contribution explores a new field of research and will interact with the ICAMus Website, as part of an imaginative format, experimented by arrangement with the publisher and the book editors.
The publication on the ICAMus website of Barbara Boganini's talk, Giacomo Puccini and Amedeo Bassi: Tuscan Connections in American Music, successfully presented on January 21, 2018 at the Museo Caruso in Lastra a Signa, Florence, Italy.

ICAMus celebrated Florence-Born American Composer Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco (1895-1968) on the 50th anniversary of his death (16 March 1968).
The Center collaborated with Università di Roma “Sapienza” and Assonanze, on three days of Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco events in Rome, June 12-14, 2018, featuring two recitals of rare songs for voice and piano (liriche) some of which are still unpublished.

The Center remembers numerous prominent events 2017-2018: • The October 6, 2017 release of the 2-CD Brilliant Classics Album of Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco's Shakespeare Sonnets (première complete recording) and Shakespeare Duets (première recording of the unpublished score) • The October 9, 2017 Guest Master Class and Guest Recital by Nico de Villiers on The Songs of Richard Hageman at the University of Michigan School of Music in Ann Arbor, MI, U.S.A. • The videorecording and audio recordings of the 2016-2017 Early American Music concert program, accompanying Viola S. Valerio's article, At the Origins of Art Music for the Flute in North America. • Details were regularly announced and complete programs made available closer to each event.
